How to Request a Buy-Back

If the machine qualifies for arbitration under Leavitt Equipment, Terms & Conditions, please open an arbitration claim first before requesting a buy-back.

For machines that meet the Buy-Back Guarantee Program criteria, simply email sales@leavitt-equipment.com within 30 calendar days of the online purchase date (delivery date is counted as Day 0).

BUY-BACK GUARANTEE – TERMS OF PROGRAM

Leavitt Equipment agrees to repurchase qualifying machines under the Buy-Back Guarantee, provided the following conditions are met.

1. Coverage & Reimbursement

  • Covers 100% of the machine purchase price and shipping fees.
  • Non-refundable fees: Buy fees, payment processing fees, taxes, and reconditioning costs.
  • Reimbursement limit: Machine purchase price is capped at 104% of the hour meter Wholesale National Average price (calculated as of the online purchase date).
  • Available to dealers and individuals in the United States & Canada for machines located within these regions.

2. Eligible Machines

Machines must meet the following criteria to qualify:
✔ Sold “As-Is”
✔ Hour meter reading not exceeding 100,000 hours
✔ Sales price greater than $1,000
✔ Weighs over 1,000 lbs GVW
✔ Includes specialty inventory such as:

  • Commercial vehicles
  • Off-road vehicles
  • ATVs
  • Farm & construction equipment
  • Forklifts
  • Heavy-duty & medium-duty trucks
  • Trailers
    ✔ Must be free from structural damage

3. Terms & Conditions for Buy-Back Requests

By purchasing the Buy-Back Guarantee, the Buyer agrees to the following:

🔹 Initiating a Buy-Back Request

  • Requests must be made within 30 calendar days of the online purchase date by emailing sales@leavitt-equipment.com
  • The machine must be fully paid for and located on the Buyer’s property at the time of the request.
  • The Buyer must not have transferred or resold the machine to another party.

🔹 Inspection & Eligibility Confirmation

  • The review process takes approximately 5 days.
  • A third-party inspection will verify the machine’s condition against the original Equipment Details Page.
  • Machines must meet these conditions:
    ✔ No more than 200 additional hours on the hour meter.
    ✔ Condition must match or be better than its listed state at the time of purchase.
    ✔ Must qualify for Leavitt Equipment, Terms & Conditions at the time of buy-back.

🔹 Buy-Back Process & Refund

  • Once approved, refunds are processed within 24-48 hours upon receipt of the transferable title from the Buyer.
  • The machine remains on the Buyer’s lot until Leavitt Equipment, Inc. arranges pickup (typically within 7 days of refund issuance).
  • The Buyer must cooperate with remarketing efforts, including facilitating inspections, providing photographs, and ensuring access for pickup.
  • Buyer is responsible for safeguarding the machine until pickup. Any damage or loss occurring post-buyback remains the Buyer’s liability.

🔹 Limitations & Exclusions

  • Buy-Back Guarantee cannot be added or removed after purchase.
  • Leavitt Equipment reserves the right to limit the number of buy-back policy purchases per Buyer.
